feeling great in no time

i woke up today feeling so tired
i feel i need more sleep.
see how i feel after that.
well i did my hour and half workout
and feel great and invigorated .
i call my yoga  routine a workout because it is .
it is one of the gentlest workouts you can ever do.
all the while stretching, flexing and toning your inner and outer body.
after a while you will see changes in your physique.
like i am seeing.
my stomach ever so slightly is pulling in and my waist is too.
it wont happen overnight as much as we all want it to.
but if we keep at it you will be amazed at how you will look and feel in  no time.

operation to recovery

my husband James is a yoga teacher and has been for many years.
as well as a Pranic  healer and  a student of Qi- gong.
all things were going well until he had to have a total knee replacement in 2007
things went from bad to worse with two knee infections and five knee operations and chronic pain.
resulting  in having to have an operation to take out  the  artificial joint that had failed  and replace it.
This led to not having a joint for five months and kept straight in a splint .
while on a large dose of antibiotics.
this resulted in waisting of the leg muscles.
it is now 2012 and three months  since his final operation and James is now on a rehabilitation programme.
which involves hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and hatha yoga.
already the physiotherapist cant believe the range of movement in the leg muscles .
James told the physiotherapists he has been practising yoga for many years they said that is why he has
a better range of movement than most.

with a guided hour long DVD . the program starts with the (Asana}prayer to the morning sun  or known as sun salutation.
at the end of the DVD they have a short progressive relaxation .
i started  with setting the scene  i shut the curtains  put the oil burner on
and started , so i thought ! , hubby came out of the bedroom and  started fosicking around in the
kitchen once he had finished .
i restarted  theDVD. with  budgie and galah looking on.(budgie) Emily is her name was a very good girl but Christopher the galah started to screech while looking at me on the floor and didn't stop.
